Boost Connect harnesses the power of the Boost community to further identify opportunities for PC optimization. We are looking at how programs on your PC relate to each other, and compare that to how those same programs are performing for other Boost users on their PCs. For example, if we see in several occasions that program X is constantly causing program Y to crash, then we will do further analysis to determine the root cause and update our knowledge base accordingly.

Active Processes

These are your typical programs that run as either individual process, services or jobs.

Startups

Startups are programs that automatically start when Windows boots and in many cases continue running for the duration of the PC usage.

Web Browser Plug-ins

Web browser plug-ins are add-ins that extend the functionality of a Web browser but can also significantly impact PC performance. These are typically a large source of PC frustration and cause unstable browsers including Microsoft Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Safari.

Windows Hooks

Hooks are programs that typically extend the core functionality of Windows or other third-party programs.
