Applications listed here are loaded automatically by Explorer.exe when your Windows boots. Because Explorer.exe is the core shell for Windows, it will always start, thus always loading the applications registered withn the Shell Service Object and are loaded early in the startup process before a user can interact with the system. The Shell Service Object startup will invoke DLL appliations to start as opposed to self executables.
