What is it?
NeroCheck is a program which runs in the background of Windows and automatically starts up when your PC boots. It checks for software udpates and automatically downloads and installs them if found.
How is nerocheck.exe loaded?
Startup files (all users) run - nerocheck.exe is registered with the run identifier 'NeroFilterCheck' and the execution command 'C:\WINDOWS\system32\NeroCheck.exe' in the Windows registry HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run. Run keys are startup registry keys that are used to launch an application automatically when any Windows user logs into Windows.
