Overview
The Boost home screen, also known as My PC, is the command center of Boost. From here you can view the state of your PC and track the current performance, strength and stability. You can also manage the programs that boot as well as those installed on your PC. Depending on which mode you are in, Basic or Power, additional features are available.
Running a Boost - See your current performance status at all times. Your status is a measure of the full performance and stability potential of your PC. When you feel your PC starting to become sluggish, just click the Boost button and within seconds your PC will feel like new.
Toggle between and mode. Basic mode is designed specifically for the more novice PC user while Power mode is designed with the PC power user in mind.
Strength - PC strength is a measure of the capability of your computer's hardware in relation to the programs you run. The strength will determine if the running programs are a good match for your current hardware. The strength the capabilities of different parts of your PC, including memory, CPU, graphics interface and hard drives. The higher the strength the more powerful your PC is.
Stability - PC stability is a measurement of how stable your computer is based on the frequency and severity of system (blue screens) and program crashes, hangs and critical errors over time. If your PC suffers from a high frequency of different types of crashes caused by Windows programs, 3rd party programs or hardware, your PC stability will be lower than a PC that rarely experiences critical crashes.
Optimize boot - Boot Optimizer allows you to understand what programs automatically start when Windows boots and allows you to significantly improve it by blocking problematic, sluggish and unneeded programs.
Optimize programs - Optimize your PC by easily uninstalling unwanted programs. With your consent, Boost will remove unnecessary crapware, bloatware, trialware, adware and spyware.
