How does avp.exe run?

Service - avp.exe runs as a background Windows service called 'AVP' (Kaspersky Koruma Hizmeti). This service runs as the SYSTEM account with extensive privileges on the local computer, and acts as the computer on the network. Kaspersky Koruma Hizmeti runs as a program that can be started by the Service Controller and that obeys the service control protocol. This type of service runs in a process by itself.

Startup files (all users) run - avp.exe is registered with the run identifier 'AVP' and the execution command '"C:\Program Files\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Internet Security 2012\avp.exe"' in the Windows registry HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run. Run keys are startup registry keys that are used to launch an application automatically when any Windows user logs into Windows.
