About Conduit
Conduit is a network of web publishers that allows them to create and distribute web browser toolbar and extension applications with the primary purpose of generating advertising and affiliate dollars. Conduit enables publishers to deploy branded web browser programs known as Community Toolbars (OurToolbar). Conduit allows publishers to distribute these browser extension apps directly, or through the Conduit App Marketplace (OurToolbar.com). Conduit-powered toolbars purpose is to drive monetization for publishers. These toolbars are typically bundled with freeware and shareware programs and are in fact distributed and branded by a number of large third party companies including Ares, Fox News, iWin and others. Conduit offers developers a program to generate and bundle these Community Toolbars with their applications or via download managers and software bundlers. The Conduit Platform provides access to various features, services, or applications powered by third parties for advertising purposes. Conduit utilizes bing ads (Microsoft advertising) to display search results and collect a portion of search click proceeds which is shared with the distribution publisher.

How to Automatically Uninstall Search Protect by conduit (with Boost)
If you you do not have Boost installed yet, download Boost and enjoy your PC.
Open Boost by either double-clicking the Boost icon 

in your notification area next to your PC's clock, or single-clicking the Boost icon and clicking the Open Boost button on the top left of the Boost notification window.
If you are not currently on the My PC screen of the main Boost window, click the My PC tab.
Click the Optimize programs button
, this will launch the Program Optimization screen.
Locate the program in the list called Search Protect by conduit by Conduit. (The program could be listed under any of the section such as Uninstall Recommended, Possible Uninstall, etc. based on how well Search Protect by conduit performs on your PC.)

To the right of the list item, click the Uninstall
button and Boost will completely remove Search Protect by conduit from your PC.

Windows 7
From the Start menu, select Control Panel.

Select Search Protect by conduit from the list of programs, and click Uninstall. Alternatively, right-click the program and select Uninstall.
Windows Vista
From the Start menu, select Control Panel.
In Classic View, double-click Programs and Features. In Control Panel Home view, under "Programs", click Uninstall a program.
Select Search Protect by conduit from the program list, and click Uninstall. Alternatively, right-click the program and select Uninstall.
Windows XP
From the Start menu, select Control Panel.
Click the Add or Remove Programs icon.
Select Search Protect by conduit from the list of programs and click Remove.
