How is nvcpl.dll loaded?

Context menu handler - nvcpl.dll is typically associtated with identifier name of NvCplDesktopContext. Windows Explorer displays a context menu for a file object when it is clicked with the right mouse button. This context menu allows various operations to be performed on the file object from within Explorer, like printing it or opening it with another program.
Startup files (all users) run - nvcpl.dll is registered with the run identifier 'NvCplDaemon' and the execution command 'RUNDLL32.EXE C:\Windows\system32\NvCpl.dll,NvStartup' in the Windows registry HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run. Run keys are startup registry keys that are used to launch an application automatically when any Windows user logs into Windows.
Approved shell extension - nvcpl.dll has a CLSID (globally unique identifier) of {A70C977A-BF00-412C-90B7-034C51DA2439} with and identifier of NvCpl DesktopContext Class. When the system detects that the user is downloading an external program that runs as part of the Windows user interface, the system searches for a digital certificate or requests that the user approve the action. If you enable this policy, Windows only starts approved programs.
Safe for scripting control - nvcpl.dll has a CLSID (globally unique identifier) of {11556518-F20D-49EC-A531-E0BDDD5E6660} with and identifier of CLSID\{11556518-F20D-49EC-A531-E0BDDD5E6660}\Implemented Categories\{7DD95801-9882-11CF-9FA9-00AA006C42C4}. Safe for scripting is a Windows policy that disables the Internet Explorer security prompt for Windows Installer scripts. It allows Web-based programs to install software on the computer without notifying the user. By default, when a script hosted by an Internet browser tries to install a program on the system, the system warns users and allows them to select or refuse the installation. This setting suppresses the warning and allows the installation to proceed.
Safe for initializing control - nvcpl.dll has a CLSID (globally unique identifier) of {11556518-F20D-49EC-A531-E0BDDD5E6660} with and identifier of CLSID\{11556518-F20D-49EC-A531-E0BDDD5E6660}\Implemented Categories\{7DD95802-9882-11CF-9FA9-00AA006C42C4}. When a program is initialized, it can receive data from another program for initializing its state. This is a potential security hazard because the data could come from an untrusted source. Programs that guarantee no security breach regardless of the data source are considered safe for initialization and are registered as such.
