Description of dbrupd.exe from SoftThinks - Dell

SoftThinks Deployment Suite helps manage the entire lifecycle of computers from out-of-box experience to reconfigurations to repairs to refurbishing. With SDS, you can create, store, and manage an unlimited number of PC configurations simultaneously. It is a fully automated system for imaging, identifying, deploying, or redeploying a system. Users can reinstall systems and automaticcally detect system hardware and install relevant drivers. No data are too big, too small, too old or too complex to recover: programs, drivers, Windows OS or your entire system can be recovered whatever the system status may be thanks to the Easy-to-Use Recovery Environment. A central database gathers images and components, automates image redeployment from the server, runs diagnostics, and can either preserve existing content or erase all data for refurbishing purposes while reimaging the PC.
