Service - updater.exe runs as a background Windows service called 'MintCastNetworks updater' (MintCastNetworks updater). This service runs as the SYSTEM account with extensive privileges on the local computer, and acts as the computer on the network. MintCastNetworks updater runs as a program that can be started by the Service Controller and that obeys the service control protocol. This type of service runs in a process by itself.

Scheduled task - updater.exe is launched automatically by registering itself into the Windows Task Scheduler under the task name '\PlayFizz'. Task Scheduler provides the ability to schedule the launch of programs or scripts at pre-defined times or after specified time intervals or even with event-based triggers.
